Sri Lanka Sets a Huge Target for West Indies

On the other end, Janith Liyanage was in a different mood. He destroyed the bowling lineup by scoring 44 runs off just 29 balls with 5 fours and 1 six at a strike rate of 151.72.
The last few overs were full of action and drama. Matthew Forde and Jayden Seales took quick wickets to stop the damage. Wanindu Hasaranga hit 1 four and got out for 7 runs. M. Rathnayake was run out for a duck on the next ball. Despite the late wickets, Sri Lanka crossed the 300-run mark comfortably.
West Indies Bowling Analysis and Extra Runs
The West Indies bowling unit had a tough day in the field, but some bowlers did a good job. Jayden Seales bowled 10 overs, gave away 67 runs, and took 2 important wickets. Matthew Forde was the most economical fast bowler, taking 2 wickets for 44 runs in his 9 overs.
Spinner Roston Chase was also very impressive. He bowled 10 overs, gave only 47 runs, and picked up 2 wickets. However, Gudakesh Motie was very expensive, giving 40 runs in just 4 overs.
